Climate Fresk in Oban

Naoko Mabon is facilitating a Climate Fresk workshop in Oban. On Saturday 22 April from 10am to 1pm. This is as part of The Rockfield Centre’s Earth Month programme.

A playful workshop exploring the complex links between the causes and consequences of climate change and empowering actions. Facilitated by Naoko Mabon, an Oban-based curator.

Based on a 42-card game developed from the scientific reports of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), Climate Fresk explains the complex links between the causes and consequences of climate change playfully and collaboratively and empowers actions.

The association of Climate Fresk is based in France (est.2018 by Cรฉdric Ringenbach, https://climatefresk.org/), and to date, over 450,000 people have participated in a Climate Fresk workshop globally.

In the face of the climate emergency, knowing climate science is critical to understanding how disruption has been happening and how we can take effective actions against it. Climate Fresk draws on collective intelligence, engaging people with climate change.
